1. What services does Pro Soul provide for dubbing and localization?  

Pro Soul provides full-service dubbing and localization for games, film, and TV, including translation, voice casting, recording, editing, and final delivery.

2. Do you work with localization companies as a production partner?  

Yes. Pro Soul supports localization companies as a trusted audio production partner for translation, dubbing, and post sound workflows across games, film, and related media. We work with specific companies for different country language localization for native talent and maximum accuracy

3. What kinds of projects do you handle?  

Pro Soul works on game dialogue, cutscenes, trailers, commercials, film, TV, and other media projects that need professional voice, music, or post-production support.

4. Do you offer Chinese dubbing and Chinese voice-over services?  

Yes. Pro Soul offers localization including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Cantonese, and other languages, along with voiceover and dubbing for games and apps in our Beijing, China studio. We also provide English dubbing and English voice over services in our Vancouver studio. For other languages we work with localization partners around the world, but in future may offer other languages in house in other studios.

5. What is the difference between voice dubbing and audio post-production?  

Dubbing focuses on replacing or adapting spoken dialogue in another language, while audio post-production covers a wider range of sound work such as sound design, Foley, editing, mastering, and surround mixing. We are a one stop shop with full in house post production services including ADR and have worked on a number of film and TV projects besides games.

6. Can you handle game cutscene and trailer audio?  

Yes. Pro Soul can support post sound for game cutscenes and trailers, including dialogue editing, sound design, mixing, original music, in house stock music and final polish to make the audio feel cinematic and release-ready. We can also provide synced audio dubbing for release in different markets.

7. Do you provide surround mixing for film and game content?  

Yes. Pro Soul offers audio post-production including sound design, Foley, and up to 7.1 surround sound mixing.

8. Can you also help with music score composing and music production?  

Yes. Pro Soul provides original music production and composition, which can be integrated into game, film, trailer, and branded content workflows.

9. How do you ensure high quality in Chinese dubbing and voice-over?

We work closely with a native Chinese engineer and linguist on every project to check pronunciation, adaptation, and natural delivery. We use a talent director to focus on matching the original actors’ emotion and character, which is critical for authentic dubbing and voice-over, especially in action and sci fi / fantasy games and film with more challenging dialog and efforts when performance quality is critical.
